IIM was created and founded by industry leaders from a wide range of backgrounds in the film and television industries. Our passion is to support and encourage the use of immersive technology in storytelling while also connecting creators with cutting-edge technology.
With over 18 years of experience in film, broadcast, AV, and immersive technologies, Nils Pauwels has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s leading technical experts in the audiovisual industry.
Before co-founding ReadySet Studios, Pauwels worked as a senior international sales representative in LED and audiovisual technology, setting up some of the most prominent LED stages in studios worldwide for film and television, live events, sports, and broadcast productions.
Notably, he was involved with VFX studio Framestore building lightbox, a predecessor to current VP/ICVFX technologies, used to create the convincing VFX for 2013’s Academy Award-winning sci-fi thriller, ‘Gravity’.
Pauwels is also credited for his involvement in creating, designing, and building stages for Dark Bay in Studio Babelsberg and the largest LED volume in Europe at the legendary Cinecittà Studios in Rome.

At Virtual°, his team leverage XR, 3D, and post-production to innovate in the heart of Soho's creative district, transforming traditional filmmaking, integrating advanced media technologies to elevate the cinematic experience.

Christina Caspers

As GM of TRIXTER, German national Christina Caspers–Roemers is at the helm of one of the biggest and leading VFX studios in Europe, working for clients such as Marvel/Disney, Warner, Netflix, Apple+, and Amazon.
Before re-joining TRIXTER, Christina was Managing Director of Dark Bay GmBH which is Europe's largest virtual production stage. Here, she oversaw the daily productions and supported and consulted shows from the scriptwriting process to the final image in all virtual production-related topics.
The volume, one of the world’s largest LED installations, was used, among other things, for the filming of the Netflix series “1899”.

Patrice Fontaine is a creative professional with over 20 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. He has developed innovative models that have allowed him to collaborate with talented teams across Europe, particularly in virtual production (VP) for commercials, episodic content, and feature films.
His diverse background includes project management for major players in the film, gaming, automotive, and luxury retail sectors, as well as VFX work for indie films.
A graduate of ESEC Lyon (BTEC Higher National Diploma in Cinema Production and Editing), Patrice combines creative vision with technical expertise, driving innovation in the film and live events industries.
